WHAT LIES BETWEEN FLESH AND BLOOD – III | 2009

C PRINT + DIASEC | 96 X 96 INCHES

The appropriation of a normal chromatic chart has implications far beyond its visual description, deception or simplicity. A familiar pictorial item is turned into an odd, but not an unexpected pictorial experience. Dealing with the formal and apolitical content, the artist has infused a range of images with details of wounds, skin and blood thus creating a complex picture that is made of ordinary and extraordinary.
