Language that constructs and conveys the currents of a culture is the subject of portraying reality of a post colonial society. Constructed with the sign boards of shops in Lahore,this work turns into two screens, which cover a recognizable canvas by English landscape painter, John Constable. This juxtaposition brings together various notions, narrations and definitions of art and language, and creates a connection between the two aspects of a cultural and creative expression.
