Pursuing the elements of contradictions and conflicts residing within us and in our society, this work encircles between the act of violence and culinary arts. Portions of raw meat, placed on plates, are a step away from turning into food dishes; yet remind us of blood, flesh and cutting of the body. While this act of slicing is taken further by separating parts of the image into different frames, which besides depicting raw meat, remind us of the classical canvases of loosely painted works of Abstract Expressionism.
