Taking his aesthetics of pixelated imagery to another level in this work, Rana explores how the flatness of surface is translated into moving image, while still conveying multiple views to formulate a single image. The work refers to a painting from art history, but its adaptation is linked to our present age, which is categorized for its association with death, destruction, terror and violence. Found videos from real life and as well as from several films have been mixed together to blur the boundary between fiction and reality.
