ACRYLIC ON CANVAS |101 X 144 INCHES

Choosing abstract vocabulary, in the work the artist explores concepts such as the flatness of a surface and the illusion of spatial depth, apparently a contradiction, but a synthesis in the act of perceiving and locating the visual world. Constructed with vertical and horizontal lines to re-emphasize the flatness of a picture’s surface, this work changes the visual experience as it offers multiple views depending on the viewer’s position.
