TWO WAYS TO A VIEW I | 2016-17

C PRINT + DIASEC | TWO PARTS: 180 X 216 CM EACH

A real, or three-dimensional item is first flattened, like a photographic image, and then turned into a cubic object. Taking the conventional theme from art history, the flower vase (but in their plastic version); roundness is modified into flat images, only to make it a cube again. The work is an exercise in how our views of reality and its representation in the art are perpetually altered with each new art piece and position, thus signifying other much wider practices too.
