Representing a significant turn in Rana’s art practice,  this work incorporates visual references from photographs and other recognizable materials but deals with these in purity of form and an abstract manner. By doing this, he focuses on essential elements which form the basis for a personal interpretation of the physical world. The interplay between real and imagined, clear and ambiguous, and mechanical and organic is visible here.
