An elaboration on the concept of spontaneity within the frame work of Abstract Expressionism, this work brings forth ideas of the pictorial truth to its bare minimum. In this acrylic on canvas, various parts are combined to create a uniformity of surface, something which is similar to the screen of a TV monitor without an image/programme being broadcasted, hence  unfolding multiple readings and interpretations. This work is situated between visual references and pure abstraction familiar to  the art of Rashid Rana.
