Often the idea of beauty is not in the world of art what is perceived by others, from different spheres of life. Usually the mundane, unnoticeable or even avoidable substance can become a point of attraction/expression. Rana creates a pictorial field that originates from the numerous pictures of a rubbish heap, which due to its combined view appears like a painting with beautiful colours and spontaneous brushstrokes. Thus maintaining the fine line between what is beautiful and what is grotesque or ugly, however reminding the fact that in essence these positions are arbitrary and can be switched: a metaphor that can be applied to other areas of life as well.
